Studios in Centro RJ with balconies and a rooftop: Q Studios is now on sale at Rua da Quitanda, 23, on the corner of Rua Sete de Setembro, in central Rio de Janeiro. Prices start at R$ 349,000. The development combines compact apartments with shared spaces for leisure, work and everyday needs.

About the development

This new building is being developed by Construtora Canopus. FEU Arquitetura designed the architecture, while FEU Singular is responsible for the interiors and landscaping of the common areas. The single tower comprises 24 floors, four lifts, 344 residential units and two shops. These figures describe the whole development and do not represent the number of homes currently available for purchase.

Location

Rua da Quitanda places the building in the historic and commercial heart of Centro. The surrounding district connects with the VLT light rail, Carioca and Uruguaiana metro stations and the Praça XV ferries. Cultural attractions and urban services are part of the wider setting, with Guanabara Bay, the Museum of Tomorrow and Santos Dumont Airport among the nearby reference points.

Unit types, sizes and prices

The published layout tables show areas from 30.31 to 38.81 m², and every unit has a balcony. Internal arrangements and sizes vary according to the unit position and floor. The plans below are confirmed examples from the project; the choice of apartment and its price depend on the current sales selection. The starting price does not necessarily apply to every illustrated layout.

The apartments are planned with electronic locks and provision for air conditioning, including service lines, drainage and electrical capacity. This provision does not mean that an air-conditioning appliance is included. The renderings illustrate possible decoration; furniture, equipment and finishes should be checked against the specifications for the chosen unit.

Leisure and shared spaces

On the 24th floor, the rooftop is designed with a swimming pool, shallow deck, sun terrace, bar, gourmet area, steam sauna and lounge, with views towards Guanabara Bay. Relaxation and social spaces are brought together at the top of the building. A gym and an outdoor exercise area are also planned among the shared amenities.

The programme includes coworking, a meeting room, a podcast space, a minimarket and a laundry. It also provides for 344 bicycle spaces, bicycle washing, a pet wash, a delivery area, parcel lockers, a beauty room and a massage room.
